This led to the further development of the historical lute into a new, powerful musical instrument that meets all the requirements of the present day. It has now gained widespread acceptance among players on several continents and can therefore rightly be called the \u2018lute of the 21st century\u2019.<\/p>\n After 25 years of manufacturing Liuti forti, some of the previous design features were re-examined. This led to the discovery of ways to further enhance the enormous resonance of a lute body \u2013 the main reason for the higher acoustic efficiency of a lute compared to a guitar. The result is an instrument that leaves nothing to be desired, whether played solo or in an ensemble.<\/p>\n Our new production structure, located in the heart of Europe with highly talented, creative employees, secures the long-term future of the project and gives us great hope for the further development of the Liuto forte. After careful training by Prof. Mark, the young team not only continues the high level of quality of our instruments without interruption, but also contributes to their further perfection with their own ideas.<\/p>\n We would like to thank all previous players of the Liuto forte for their courage in breaking new ground and thereby helping to restore the vitality and openness to change that characterised the lute in earlier centuries.
